One thousand – it can be a very large or very small number, depending upon one’s perspective. For me, this marks the 1,000th blog article I have written. To put this into perspective, Tolstoy’s epic, “War and Peace” (which I confess to having never read) has about 560,000 words, in English. The blog articles total about the same number of words!
Astonishes even me.
As this is the holiday season, I’ve been very reflective upon my many blessings. I’d like to share just a few from this past year who I am so thankful for. This column is what it is because of each of you, who encourage me to improve, to always want to be the best I can be. I am humbled by your collective wealth of knowledge and willingness to teach and share.
The person who is at the top of my list, as well as my constant thoughts, is Judy Hansen. If you missed the story I recently wrote about her, please take a moment to read it. I’d like to believe it came right from my heart. https://www.hansenpolebuildings.com/2015/10/when-life-changes-in-the-blink-of-an-eye/
Eric Graff has to be right up there. Judy could not have a better business partner. It is a daily pleasure to be able to work with him. There are no softball questions from Eric – which I totally respect. If anyone keeps me on my toes, it is Eric.
The readers of my articles.
Seriously, I am amazed at the number of articles which have been read 40, 50 and even over 100 thousand times! If I have entertained, educated and informed with them, then they have been a success.
The clients of Hansen Pole Buildings.
Collectively a more wonderful group of people would be difficult to assemble. After 17,000 plus pole (post frame) buildings, the creativity of our clients in arriving at design solutions is a joy to me. I’ve gotten to interact with many of them, most of who I’d happily sit down to enjoy a cold beverage with.
The Hansen Pole Buildings team – who often make the impossible seem mundane!
I’m looking forward to sharing the next 1,000 blogs with all of you. Can’t find the post frame topic you are searching for? Drop me a note, I’ll try to solve it!
