Choose your doors:

Overhead Sliding
Helpful Hints in choosing doors
  • You may choose more than one door type for your building and place them on either the sidewalls or gable endwalls. Doors wider than 12' are usually most cost effective if placed on gable endwalls (peaked ends).

  • Sliding – great for agricultural (farm shops, horse barns & arenas)
  • Overhead – seals out wind, dust and small animals; can put openers on them; can be insulated; usually not much more in cost than sliding doors
Don ’t know what size to buy? Click here for Overhead Door Chart.

Note: Overhead doors up to 10’ must be 1’ less than eave height, 10’ and taller doors need to be 2’ less than eave height

Ex: If you have a 12’ Eave height, the tallest door will be 10’ or shorter

C Building site is open to the wind in one or more directions, for 1/4 mile, with only scattered obstructions generally less than 30 feet tall in the "open" direction. This would include building sites in flat open country, grasslands and ocean exposed shorelines in hurricane-prone regions.
