| I was, as they say, "born and raised" in Browns Valley, Minnesota, having spent most of 40 plus years there. For over 25 years I worked as a Registered Nurse. So, what does that have to do with pole buildings? Surprisingly, everything! Working as a nurse manager, along with many years working in ICU, provided an excellent background for managing a pole building business. Working with people, seeing to their needs and caring for people with respect and compassion is integral to every successful business, and the foundation for Hansen Buildings. My pride and joy are my four grown sons and their wives, along with (at last count) 5 grandchildren, all under the age of 3. Christmas and family gatherings bring a houseful of welcome noise, love and laughter. Although often accused of never sleeping, I also like to read, crochet, bake and ride with my husband on our 1986 Yamaha motorcycle. It’s nothing for us to put 700 to 800 miles on the bike…in one day! I invite you to stop in and see me at the Browns Valley Administrative office for some of the best chocolate chip cookies any side of the Mississippi…just ask my grandchildren! |
